Service Description

A bagel is a bread roll originating in the Jewish communities of Poland. Bagels are traditionally made from yeasted wheat dough that is shaped by hand into a torus or ring, briefly boiled in water, and then baked. The result is a dense, chewy, doughy interior with a browned and sometimes crisp exterior. With added in pre-fermentation dough, the bagels will be softer in texture. Bagels can be consume as its own or to make as bagelwich to put in sweet or savoury fillings. In this class, you’ll be learning how to make 3 types of soft Bagel flavours – Original, Cranberry Cream Cheese and Jalapeno Cheddar Cheese. Learning Points: 1) How to make soft bagels using mixer and how to mix in ingredients using hand kneading 2) The technique in proofing your dough in a convection oven 3) How to shape the Bagels into nice ring shaping using hand and rolling pin 4) How to cook the dough in boiled water and bake 5) The proper storage tips for baked products Min age group - 8 years old Quantity to bring home - 6 pieces of breads
